ETS Cable Components are a major UK distributor of Flexicon hazardous area conduits and fittings.
Flexicon's flexible conduit systems and hazardous area products are suitable for a range of different applications, including commerical, industrial, rail/mass-transit and EXD hazardous areas. Common applications include skids, control boxes/panels, accomodation uses and CCTV/Communcation systems.
The advantages of using a flexible conduit system, whether it is liquid-tight, stainless steel include: terminating multiple cables in one application, improves ease of cable terminations, suitable for use within small enclosures and can give EMC screening with braided conduit types.
Liquid-Tight Flexible Conduits (LTP)Manufactured in the UK to the highest quality standards, the liquid-tight flexible conduits are made from helically-wound galvanised steel with a smooth, oil resistant outer cover. The Flexicon conduit systems are able to offer the highest IP performance for liquid tight conduit fittings as standard and come with the highest tensile strength performance fittings. Available in both PVC and LSF Zero Halogen variants. Available from stock in various coil lengths, dependant upon conduit diameter. |

Liquid-Tight ConnectorsAll Flexicon liquid tight cable glands are manufactured from nickel plated brass as standard. Standard, swivel and EDX barrier glands are available from stock suitable for use with all Flexicon liquid-tight conduits. All glands have IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69k ratings. |

Stainless Steel Braided Flexible Conduits (LFHUBRD)Flexicon also have a range of stainless steel braided flexible conduits, made from a helically-wound galvanised steel core, with an extra LSF Zero Halogen coating and helically-wound, stainless steel overbraid. Stainless steel variants of the conduit are suitable for all public mass-transit systems and are approved by LUL to standard 1-085 as well as being EMC screen for nuclear installations. Stainless Steel ConnectorsA range of standard and swivel glands are available, from stock, to fit the FSB range of stainless steel flexible conduits. The cable glands have an rating of IP54 as standard, however IP65 standard and IP65 swivel glands are also available.

Rail Infrastructure ProductsFlexicon also have a range of products suitable for use within the rail industry, both in intererior and trackside applications. The rail vehicle interior flexible (FPR) conduit product range is suitable for installations within rail vehicles and trains, but equally suiting any LSF plastic flexible conduit requirement. Trackside flexible (FPAH) conduits are also available, offering a heavier-duty LSF plastic conduit, suitable for exterior rail applications such as control and telecomunication cables. |
