Euromold
EUROMOLD (aka Elastimold) is the leading European specialist designer and manufacturer of prefabricated cable accessories suitable for Medium Voltage applications upto 52kV.
A complete range is provided: epoxy bushings, angled and straight plug-in and bolted separable connectors, joints, test leads and surge arresting devices for the five main bushing interfaces: A, B, C, D & E.
EUROMOLD interface C, D & E separable connectors feature the ability to allow several cables to be connected to a single equipment bushing allowing for multiple cable connections per phase. This feature and the compactness of each connector makes EUROMOLD a favourite with all the major equipment manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, Alstom, Brush et al.
Manufactured from layers of EPDM rubber, each product features built-in stress control and an outer semi-conducting layer making each connector fully screened, offering excellent mechanical strength, being weatherproof and providing a touch-safe, easy to install disconnectable system for all common polymeric cable types.
All products meet International Standards IEEE386 and IEEE404, CENELEC EN50180/50181 and IEC137, as well as individual country standards.
Interface A, 200SeriesSuitable for use upto 24kV, 200Series 158LR (Interface A) Euromold “Plug-In” screened separable elbow connectors are rated upto 250amps, maximum cable size: 150mm2. |

Interface B, 400SeriesSuitable for use upto 36kV, 400Series 400LR (Interface B) Euromold “Plug-In” screened separable elbow connectors are rated upto 400amps, maximum cable size: 300mm2. |

Interface C, 400SeriesSuitable for use upto 36kV, 400Series 400TB (Interface C) Euromold “Bolted” screened separable tee connectors are rated upto 630amps, maximum cable size: 300mm2. Also available within the range to accommodate upto 630mm2, the Euromold 440TB screened separable connector is rated upto 1250amps when used with the correct equipment bushing. The 400Series Interface C connectors are also available in a "Compact" form designed to be used within increasingly confined equipment termination chambers. 430TB range is suitable for most applications upto 630amps, with the 484TB range designed for larger conductors and for use upto 1250amps. |

Interface D, 600SeriesTwo screened separable tee connectors are offered within this range, the Euromold 650LR rated upto 800amps which mates with 600Series bushings with 5/8” aluminium studs and the Euromold 675LR rated upto 1250amps, for use with bushings featuring 5/8” copper studs. A variant is also available to suit M16 copper studs, 676LR, being increasingly used by some European equipment manufacturers. Interface E, 700SeriesTwo screened separable tee connectors are offered within this range, the Euromold 750LR rated upto 800amps which mates with 700Series bushings with 5/8” aluminium studs and the Euromold 775LR rated upto 1250amps, for use with bushings featuring 5/8” copper studs. All 700Series interface E bushings are for use upto 36kV. |
