One of the areas for concern with all cable glands is the quality of the material from which they are manufactured. In order to guarantee reliability and longevity of operation, CMP Products exclusively source raw materials from reputable European manufacturers. The brass used conforms strictly to European Standard EN12168, specification CW614N and commonly referred to as “high grade marine brass”. ETS offer a wide variety of CMP glands from stock with both PVC shrouds, or LSF kits with genuine LSFZeroHalogen (LSZH) sealing rings and shrouds which have third party accreditation from London Underground Limited (LUL), report C3132.
CMP BW Brass Cable GlandsManufactured in brass for use with all SWA (steel wire armoured) cables in dry industrial applications. Provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour wire termination. LSF BW brass cable glands also available. Available from stock with PVC or LSFZeroHalogen shrouds. |

CW Brass Cable GlandsBrass cable gland for use with all SWA (steel wire armoured) cables indoor or within protected outdoor environments. The CW variant we stock is supplied with a separate armour locking ring which enables the gland body to be removed without disturbing the armour wire termination. Additionally, all LSFZeroHalogen gland kits feature 15mm male thread length throughout the range. LSF CW brass cable glands available. Available from stock with PVC or LSFZeroHalogen shrouds. |

E1W Brass Cable GlandsWeatherproof brass cable gland for use with all SWA (steel wire armoured) cables, for use within exposed outdoor environments. ETS E1W kits also feature a separate armour locking ring which enables the gland body to be removed without disturbing the armour wire termination, 15mm male thread length throughout the range and nylon thread washers to preserve the IP66 integrity.
