The GBZ bonded cable screen remover is a universal tool for the removal of the bonded semi-conductor screen layer of Medium Voltage cables between 10kV and 36kV.

The GB-P20 bonded screen stripping tool:
The GB-P20 is a universal GBZ bonded cable screen remover, suitable for the shaving of the bonded semi-conductive layer around the core insulation of Medium Voltage cables between 10kV and 36kV. The tool has a working cable insulation diameter range of 10mm - 50mm.

Due to the special grinding and polishing of the tungsten-carbide blade, the GB-P20 cable stripping tool can provide a faultless surface finish to the primary insulation. The blade has an adjustable shaving depth from 0.1mm - 1.2mm (0.1mm increments)

GBZ Silicone grease is available to aid to stripping process is also available.

The GB-L20 bonded screen removal tool:
The GB-L20 semi-conductor shaving tool is suitable for use on the bonded semi-conductive layers from MV polymeric cables up to 36kV and 500mm².

Due to the construction of the tool, stripping speed is automatic, providing a consistent, faultless surface finish to the primary insulation. The L20 tool is able to accommodate cables with insulation diameter of 15mm - 45mm and has an adjustable shaving depth.
